Someday, everything’s gonna be different, when I paint my masterpiece." —Bob Dylan

I am a graduate of The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, where I was instructed by legendary industry professionals, with the intention of being a comic book artist. While there, I developed and broadened my artistic influences and interests, which led me to becoming a freelance commercial illustrator for over ten years.

During that time, I produced illustrations for clients such as Harper Collins, Estee Lauder, ESPN, The Smithsonian, Popular Science, The Village Voice, The American Prospect, Forbes, plus numerous ad agencies for nationwide campaigns and products. I also produced all the player portraits for the 2004 NBA All-Star Game and the poster and key art for comedian Margaret Cho’s “Revolution” tour and movie. I was also the portrait artist for Time Out New York’s weekly “Hot Seat” celebrity interview column for over five years.

As a writer, I created and edited the 2011 book Hey Kids, Comics!: True-Life Tales From The Spinner Rack, and co-created and wrote the online web comic strip Ace Kilroy, for which I won an award for Comic Book Writer of the Year. In 2015 I combined my love of writing and movies with the Reel Retro Cinema column for 13thDimension.com, where I discuss films with a connection to the world of comic books.

I co-founded The Fire and Water Podcast Network in 2016, going on to host and produce thousands of hours of podcast content. Some of the shows I created are Fade Out (movies), Pod Dylan (music), TreasuryCast (comic books), and M*A*S*HCast (TV). Over the years, I have interviewed numerous directors, actors, musicians, screenwriters, and producers to discuss their work. I also hosted the network’s first live show, when Pod Dylan was part of the 2019 Philadelphia Podcast Festival.

In 2023, I began providing audio commentary tracks for classic (and not so classic) films for their Blu-Ray releases from various home video labels. As a former video store employee, getting to contribute to the continued existence of movies on physical media is one of my most rewarding creative outlets.

I currently reside in Florida with my beautiful wife Kelley and our energetic dog, Pippa.
